This experience report addressed the pandemic issues caused by Covid-19, highlighting the difficulties faced by people with disabilities in the current situation and the disruption of access to social care and educational programs in primary education schools in the special education modality of Paraná. Thus, some questions and relevant points to be highlighted about the performance of the school teams and the teaching staff of these schools are presented, mentioning remote teaching and how it was introduced and carried out with the students assisted by Special Education. The dynamics and process of adaptation and school organization concerning educational direction were addressed, regarding pedagogical conduct and the experiences lived by the school community, the search for a new reorganization of remote classes within the new context imposed by the pandemic, and the actions of teachers and students in this “new world”.
