Abstract

The XXI century has been defined as the worst historical moment in the last decades. In the year 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a global public calamity emergency caused by the new coronavirus outbreak, the COVID-19. The planet experienced a catastrophe, and many countries exposed their worst weaknesses in education, public health, and economics. The theme brought the COVID-19 topic and its impacts on people with disabilities. A theoretical essay model was chosen as it fits the presentation of this work better. Negative aspects of this impact were presented, as well as groups that were able to navigate the pandemic positively. The research highlighted the importance of works that promote topics on disability nationwide.
