Abstract: The partnership between Lifelong Education and the Special Social Protection Service for People with Disabilities, the Elderly and Their Families plays a crucial role in promoting inclusion, strengthening skills and supporting families. This article is an experience report on the project developed by APAE in Irani-SC, which explores the importance of continuing education for people with intellectual disabilities in the aging process and how collaboration between education and special social protection services can enrich their lives. lives. The cooperation between these two areas allows for a personalized approach to meet the specific needs of each individual. In addition, the exchange of knowledge between education and social care professionals can lead to more effective strategies to improve inclusion, learning and development.
