Popular cultureAbstract
This work addresses the theme of playfulness in the teaching and learning process in AEE (Specialized Educational Assistance) classes of APAE (Association of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional), bringing the game Boi-de-mamão culturally known and popular in the state of Santa Catarina. The objective of this work is to understand the Boi-de-mamão manifestation. Furthermore, promote cultural acquisition, through dance, music, games and theater; develop interest in different forms of expression (play, dance, music and drama) and involve students in playful activities. This is qualitative research, of a basic nature and with a descriptive and reflective, bibliographical objective, using Freire (2011); Velloso (2019), Banca (2020), Leal et al., (2021) e Locatelli & Fantin (2023). As a result, we can observe that bringing local culture to the teaching and learning process is of fundamental importance as it links playfulness, identity, education and popular culture.
