REFLEXÕES SOBRE A REALIZAÇÃO DAS ATIVIDADES DE EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA

In 2020, the world experienced a complex moment, the COVID-19 pandemic, which
led to the need to implement remote education as a social distance measure. Consequently,
some students and their guardians had difficulties in carrying out the proposed activities. This
study sought to investigate the difficulties faced by students with disabilities and their caregivers, regarding the activities proposed in the discipline of Physical Education. The objective
was to identify the struggles faced by students and their guardians, who often assist in these
activities while considering each student’s limitations and family environment. The research
had a bibliographic nature, with specific studies and fieldwork, involving dialogue with the
students’ families and an analysis of the activities performed. The results indicated that lengthy
videos and extended activities were not successful. Additionally, having only one mobile device
per household made it difficult for families to watch the activity demonstrations and record the
students simultaneously. Furthermore, activities requiring a family member’s involvement for
recording purposes posed additional challenges. These reports and complaints indicate that the
activities must be objectively planned and be specific within the possibilities and realities of
each student, always focusing on the importance of proposals that are meaningful to students
with disabilities.
