Inclusive monitoring is offered, optionally, at some federal, state, and private universities. This activity targets students who struggle with the theoretical content studied. This article describes the experience of inclusive monitoring in the Dentistry course at the Federal
University of Campina Grande-UFCG in the first half of 2022. It is a descriptive study of the
experience report type, which was prepared and developed from the author’s experience and
perceptions within the inclusive monitoring environment. The experience report demonstrates
the significant importance of allowing consistent quantitative and qualitative evaluations of students who are regularly enrolled. In this way, the students monitored, even with the difficulties
presented, obtain better academic performance. Thus, carrying out this type of work increases
the experience of the student who acts as a monitor for the inclusion of other students with
needs related to the Dentistry course.
