The family’s role as mediators and promoters of the development of people with disabilities in their homes has become increasingly apparent with services returning post-COVID-19 pandemic. Actions were planned to inform and equip families regarding the Natural Functional Curriculum subjects, interconnected with those occurring during the student's service process at the institution. Three actions were conceived: videos exploring the theme of the book "Natural Functional Curriculum," written by Dr. Maryse Suplino, an informative lecture in person with the author, and individual consultancy with the family, conducted by Dr. Maryse - a professional from APAE. Results show us more satisfied and confident professionals working with the public and families that are more confident when facing developmental challenges from their relatives, as well as people with disabilities being seen with a greater understanding of their needs.
