The Apae Ciência Journal is a scientific periodical publication, edited by the Faculdade Apae Brasil Dr. Eduardo Barbosa, dedicated to the dissemination of research, experience reports, and theoretical reflections that contribute to the promotion of rights, social inclusion, and quality of life for people with disabilities. With an interdisciplinary approach, the journal welcomes works in the fields of education, health, rehabilitation, psychology, social work, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, and related areas, always focusing on the valorization of human potential and the construction of more inclusive, accessible, and equitable professional practices and public policies. Aimed at researchers, professionals, educators, public managers, and families, the Revista Apae Ciência seeks to establish itself as a democratic and rigorous space for the production and dissemination of knowledge, stimulating dialogue between academia and civil society, while reaffirming its ethical commitment to diversity, full citizenship, and social transformation.
